Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. This is normal phenomenon and no treatment is required. But if you feel that something is different you can get it examined by the doctor.
Many times examination may be needed to give final diagnosis.f

If you think they're biting their lips because they're hungry, try offering them something to eat. If this behavior occurs only when they're exposed to loud noises or other stressful situations, distract them with a happy activity
