#asktheexpert Hi... on birth my doctor given vitamin D3 drops for my baby. And told that should give 1ml vitamin d3 drops everyday till 1 year. Actually I have stopped it in 1st month. When I asked to many they said that they are not giving this . So what is the need for giving vitamin d3 drops? Do I need to start it again?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. vitamin d3 is very very important for your baby milestones it is given 1ml daily tell one year of age from the date of birth and is a standard practice to give vitamin d3 for strong bones and timely teeth eruption
