Generally by 5-6 months babies double their birth weight,on an average they put on 400-900 gm per month.
Feed exclusive breast milk or formula milk until 5 complete months every two hours for about 15-20 minutes , sometimes baby take 5-10 minutes feed ,give frequent feeds to avoid hunger, dehydration...
