#AskTheExpert Hi, My daughter is 16 months old her birth weight was 3.25 kg and her current weight is 8.9 kg she is not putting on weight and she's been on the same weight since past 4 months. she eats everything that is offered to her. please help I'm really worried

A. Dear ma’am, toddlerhood is a stage where there won’t be rapid growth like how they used to gain weight during infancy. Appetite will also be tender but at the same time they get enough nutrients from just handful of foods. Make sure she is not constipated and receives adequate calories everyday to support her growth. Foods like fruit milkshakes, multigrain porridge, banana, boiled sweet potato etc helps in weight gain
