#asktheexpert Hi my baby is premature baby delivered on 32 weeks and been at NICU for a month. He is doing well now. My query is that is it safe for him to start cow milk now ? As he is 1 year old.

A. yes the thing is that at this age you can go for any type of milk for the child and it can be either formula milk or packet milk or powder milk or animal milk that is either buffalo milk or cow's milk for your child. initially you will have to offer outside milk in small quantity and if the child is tolerating that amount then gradually you can increase the quantity of milk but if the child is not tolerating then kindlyx change the type of milk you are giving . (when you boil the animal milk and then cool it you can remove the upper layer of fat and it becomes a toned milk)
