#asktheexpert Hi, my baby has stopped latching from my breast suddenly. I try on and off but she just cries out loud. She is comfortable with my pumped milk but just not taking my breasts for feed. Anything to worry about this state?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper.
if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk
meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this.
see videos on you txube for breastfeeding position and attachment.
take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself.
take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.
