In many cases, dry skin or temporary pigmentation changes are harmless and improve with gentle moisturizing.
However, if the patches are spreading, becoming scaly, or not improving, it’s best to consult a pediatrician or dermatologist to rule out conditions like fungal infections or vitiligo. In the meantime, keep her skin moisturized with baby-safe lotion, avoid strong soaps, and protect her skin from excessive sun exposure.
