it is important to prevent mosquito bite by using other mosquito nets and the second option would be mosquito repellent vaporizer. there are also available cloth roll on. you can apply mosquito repellent cream on the skin if it is not causing any allergy.
make the child wear full clothes to decrease the chances of bite and if a bite occurs you can apply  coconut oil to decrease the sensation.
also can use atarax anti itch lotion/ ritch lotion to decrease itching.
do not apply any type of cream are lotion which is causing allergy or any baby products which is not suiting the skin of the child

if it is mosquito bites then you may apply Babyhug after bite roll on on this
it contains natural ingredients like turmeric powder etc
choose full sleeves and full length pants for your child
