#AskTheExpert Hi mam, my baby is 5 months old can I take covid vacsine while giving breast milk, is there any issue for the baby if I take vacsine. Please suggest madam

A. Yes, you can get vaccinated for Covid while breastfeeding the baby. There would not be any harmful effects, infant in will help in developing immunity in baby against this or any other infection. You should continue feeding the baby as before without any hesitation or concern.
