for healthy weight gain, child should be given all the foods that are prepared in the house
give five meals this includes two healthy snacks
give more than One Katori every time
the meals should be wholesome having variety of food groups like grains, pulses/non veg
vegetables green leafy vegetables fruits
dairy products like curd paneer
nuts
control intake of high sugar, oil and salt containing food and beverages processed packaged foods
Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. mam I have told u earlier that she only eats home cooked food....n I use jaggery powder instead of sugar for her in dalia n milk.......I only give her natural sweetener in the form of fruits......I know it's normal weight but she should be much more chubby girl na...??dt's y I m little worried....right now she is not thin nor chubby bt I wished her to be little chubby....so....nuts are also included in her diet...in whole day...I gave her 5 to 6 meals...included snacks also...
