#asktheexpert Hi I'm a mother of 11 months old boy, suddenly he started refusing to eat food, we dont know the reason, and he always depends on breast milk, how to avoid it and is it k to feed him 6 times at this age Thank you

A. Hi, check for teething. Baby might be teething. While teething they will avoid a semi solid food and only demands for breast milk. Gently massage on the gums with your fingers and try to divert, give toys and Try to feed your baby. Yes you can give 5 solid feed in a day. With that you can continue breastfeeding until one year. Give finger foods like boiled carrot sticks, boiled potato sticks which she can chew. But make sure it is cooked well and soft.
