Q.

#AskTheExpert hi i had delivered a baby girl 11 month before. initially i had hair fall issues during post partum and it resolved.recently 2 months i am facing heavy hair fall i cant able to control.i dont know whether i am using right shampoo.i am using himalaya shampoos.naturally my hair was very soft.could you suggest me a right shampoo for me.

A. Postpartum hair loss commonly starts at around three months after birth. Most women will return to their usual hair by between 6 and 12 months after birth... If not regain.. need further examination or even laboratory test.. Consult skin care specialist. Oiling improves blood circulation and nourishes the roots, massage once a week with oil that suits your scalp. . Use mild shampoo. Use a comb with widely spaced teeth. Avoid stress.. stress can increase hair loss. Have Biotin rich food on a daily basis it is found in several foods such as carrots, liver, tafu,yeast, bananas, spinach.
