#asktheexpert hi Dr my baby is 5 weeks and 5 days old (40 days). Her birth weight was 3.07kg.her current weight is 3.73kg. She has gained 730 gm so far. She is exclusively breast fed. Is it adequate weight gain

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello in the first month you cannot expect much weight gain and then on if the baby is gaining a minimum of 600 grams to 800 grams per month then it means babies getting sufficient BM and absolutely nothing to worry and not you can give infant formula milk using a bpa free bottle like babyhug
