#asktheexpert hi dr can babies be allergic to breast milk? my 3 months old baby got red rashes immediately after breastfeeding. not sure what is the reason.

A. Hai good afternoon !! Yes if mother had any new food item ,heavy foods,spicy foods,egg,nuts some babies might have allergic reaction. Check if you had any new item recently in your diet. If baby vomiting frequently after every feed then might be lactose intolerance. Consult Paeditrician about this.
