#asktheexpert hi doctor... which medicine is good for cold of 3 months baby

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As at home remedy steam inhalation would be very usegful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there, sir, please do not worry about it too much. Please massage baby chest with lukewarm mustard oil. Please give indirect steam to the baby twice a day. Also, you can put kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. If you want to give any medicine to the baby, then it is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advice properly.
