Q.
#asktheexpert hi doctor, my son is completing 5 months and entering into 6 month and he weights 7kg.so is it okay to start solids for my baby because he is only in formula milk now? because when I consulted the doctor offline he said after completing 6 months then you can start solids in 7th month.if we start solids in 6th months baby will gain weight itseems so he asked to start in 7 th month. so please suggest me when to start solids for my baby and if we start solids what is the food we can give?

Your doctor has advised you correctly it is six months complete and the beginning of the seventh month if your child does not gain weight as of now then you can give formula feeding to the child you cannot start with food before the right age it is not good for the gut health of your child and general
