Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor. My son is 3.5 months old and at nights sometimes he is sleeping 6-6.5 hours at strech without feeding. And I notice recently he is sleeping more than before but active when he is awake. Is this normal? will it affect his weight gain? could you please clarify doctor.

A. If he is active when he is awake u needn't worry. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly. If not then u may consider dream feeding the baby in between his sleep or wake the baby and feed. Also there should be a gradual weight gain. Keep a check on these factors.
