#AskTheExpert hi doctor, my niece who is 23 months old does not respond to name yet and even if she does it is not consistent . Also not verbal yet. How can we find if it is a speech delay issue or any other issue ?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. why not get asessne t.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

please you spend more time with your child and talk more and more with your child
please tell stories and sing nursery rhymes with your child
please buy some educational toys like Babyhug buliding block and wooden puzzle shape shorting ball etc
