#AskTheExpert Hi doctor, my baby who is 8 years old suddenly started hairfall..i am feeling afraid to touch her hair.. please help me on this her weight is 22kgs

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hair fall can be due to some underlying reasons like presence of lice or dandruff. In which case once you get rid of them the hair fall should stop. The other reason for hair fall could be due to some vitamin or mineral deficiency. In that scenario, you should consult your doctor, get the child's body elements tested and give some supplements. Make sure to wash the hair atleast once a week and keep it clean from dirt.
