#asktheexpert hi doctor my baby is 8 months old...after 3rd month doctor suggested easum rice as she was not gaining weight till 6th month v gave her easum later from 6th month started rice nd dal mix( uggu) daily trice i make her eat..nd increasing as per age...but she is not gaining much weight she will be 1kg low only as per standard weight...she does pooh each time while eating..is it a reason thst she is not gaining weight..?

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and please give your baby ajwain ark and saunf water for better appetite. also give baby semi solid food and fresh fruits and vegetables along with breastfeeding and formula milk.
