#AskTheExpert Hi doctor,my 9 month old son got runny nose and Little fever.What can I do to cure him.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptomhys .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

first ,as it is viral Infection,I advise to apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child which help to cure cold.
keep your child well hydrated
you can gently rub onion slice on chest and back of your child which help to cure fever and cold both.
