#asktheexpert hi doctor I had vaginal stitches after delivery Im facing bit pain near vagina but my stitches are ok what is the solution for the pain how can I reduce pain as I'm not able to sleep or sit

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. having mild vaginal pain is common after delivery you just need to avoid stretching your legs more and sit in a comfortable position so that there is less of stretch over the stitches apply regularly T- bact ointment and maintain proper hygiene

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. Reduce your discomfort Place cold packs or heat packs on your stitches. Keep a thin towel between the pack and your skin. Sit on a firm seat so the stitches pull less.
