#AskTheExpert hi doctor how to help if my kid is undernourished. his diet is good, physical activity is also good and mind is also very sharp but not gaining weight and height his current weight is 11 kg and height is 3 feet

A. for good Growth of the child it is important that the child should get proper nutritional requirement which is very important for the growing child specially iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition . also there is role of other micronutrients. onge should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth. any kind of infection spehgcially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise. after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.
