#AskTheExpert Hi Doc, my son is 5 yrs old and is having mouth ulcer , he do not take any medicines pls resolve my issue

A. kindly applies zytee gel over the ulcer / paining area in the oral cavity. you can use your finger to apply the gel and rotate the finger blindly in the oral cavity. do ncot worry about the ingestion of this gel. this will only help in decreasing the pain as well as will help in fascter healing. it is also advisable to start a multivitamin supplement after consulting the doctor for this problem. give fluids to the child. see that child is not suffering from constipation

A. Treatment for mouth ulcers If your child is in pain, you can try applying an anaesthetic mouth gel to the area. You can buy these mouth gels over the counter from pharmacies. You can also try warm salt water rinses if your child is old enough to rinse or gargle with liquids.
