Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doc I am 35 years old and mother of 5 year old kid...I want to plan for second baby but during menstrual cycle flow is less but periods are on time..will it effect blood supply to kid...also I am overweight

A. the menstrual flow has no relation with the blood flow to the baby during pregnancy. but it is always advisable that you lose weight before hand as you will again gain weight during pregnancy
