Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. any cough most of the time may be allergic or infective which needs proper assessment. initially you can start by giving steam inhalation to your baby (given indirectly by keeping the baby on the shoulder and taking the steam from a distance) which will help in relievingdn symptoms to some extent and will make the baby comfortable.cough suppressants are usually avoided in children,it needs to be examined first before giving any kind of medicine.nebulisation is to be given only when advised by your pediatrician. so it will be better if you consult your doctor for proper guidance along with proper dosage for the kind of problem.
