#asktheexpert Hello sir, My son has a seizure due to a high fever, so he has been given an anticonvulsant.He is due to receive his fourth vaccination next month.After the fourth vaccination.If he gets a high fever after the fourth vaccination.Can I give you an anti-seizure pill and paracetamol?Or should I give the medicine provided by the government hospital?

A. First you can give paracetamol if your child is not better with that your child gets a seizure again then you give this medicine otherwise there is no need to give anti seizure medication to the child without doctors advice it would not be suggested it’s only given if the child has seizure and if it happens again you should visit a neurologist also
