#AskTheExpert hello sir, my daughter was 6 days old. she didn't poop for last 2 days. what can i do for that?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drogxps and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom This is normal. Constipation is common in breast feed babies. Babies can go without poop for a week altogether. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise,accepting feeds then no need to worry. Take care and all the best
