#asktheexpert Hello sir , how long we can use an open bottle of medicine ?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. once the medicine bottle is being opened you can use it for 3 to 4 months and better not to use after that as the efficacy of the medicine is being reduced

If it is a normal medication then you can use it up till the shelf life but if it is an antibiotic which comes into the powder for that can only be used for maximum five days after that you will have to discard it rest of the medicines can be used up till the shelf life
