#AskTheExpert hello sir...good morning !! my son have cold and having thick yellow mucus...yesterday he have rainy nose and today he have nose block with thick yellow mucus. plz give suggestions 🙏

A. it's due to cold block. Cold and cough is due to seasonal change and is of viral and is common . Safest to give indirect steam inhalation for nasal block and also protect baby with wollens clothes . Can put nasivion / saline drops . Take flu vaccine yearly for protection from flu after six mnths of age . Nebulization can be done by doctor advise . See a doctor if fever or discomfort .

A. KTL mucus it could be a possibility because of the seasonal changes happen if you keep your baby well hydrated and won't give your baby warm liquids to drink that will be helpful for the baby
