#AskTheExpert Hello , My child ia 2 mnth old and he has got white patches on his face... I need to knw why the white patches appear on childs face ..??? wat is the reason and how can it be cured??

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 2 months old now white patches on face are commonly due to fungal infection for which you need to apply antifungal ointment like tenovate M ointment twice a day for 5 days

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. This condition most often occurs in children and adults, but it's also seen in newborn babies. When white spots are caused by entrapped keratin, it's called primary milia.
Dont worry they will resolve on own.
