#AskTheExpert Hello Madam, I have a doubt. I am 6 weeks pregnant. My husband and I had blood test for the same. Kindly find attached our blood test report.I am diagnosed with beta thalassemia. Nothing Specific is mentioned in my husband's blood test report. Kindly advice.

A. you have a disease in a recessive manner and if your husband also has a similar one then there is only 25% chance of the baby to be affected if the husband doesn’t have that at all then the baby might not be affected. Have a talk with your gynecologist
