#asktheexpert hello I am a mother of 3year10 month old girl she is developing a habit of eating sand(or she licks the mitti on doors ,chuna from walls) why she do this and what should I give her to stop

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Eating sand, chuna, wall paint etc is pica in babies. This is due to nutrient deficiency in baby. For this u need to consult with your doctor for the same as he will prescribe medicine after the proper evaluation of the baby. Take care
