Hello dr. my son is 2.8 months now. he hardly sleeps ..he cannot sleep peacefully more than half an hour and cries after that.. it takes up more than half an hour to settle.him back. he sleeps more.half an hour in afternoon. and sleeps at 11 in the night.. with waking up every half an hour and I try to do this till 6.30 in morning. amd after that he wakes up. this is happening since 7 months . can I please tell me why isn't he getting a comfortable sleep

just take care of the environmental areas of the child
sleeping pattern in small children changes from time to time but will improve with increasing age of the child and you have to just see for any environmental factor which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the child might be having some digestion problem for breathing difficulty due to nasal blockage has to be looked into
