#asktheexpert Hello Dr My baby is 1yr 8mnth old..at time of birth her weight wag 2.7kg and her weight is only 9kg..she is very active but health wise is under weight...plz suggest

Yes your child is underweight but the best part is that your child is active which is a very positive sign the doctor said the child should be active so that is very good but further more I would strongly recommend you to give more of protein based diet and dairy products to the child that is what is going to be beneficial for your kid
