#AskTheExpert hello doctor my daughter is suffering from cold and has runny nose... she is 3 years old... could you please suggest dose for Orange CS syrup

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators o kur antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

If You asking for this medicine for cold issue then it is going to be about 2.5 ML twice a day that’s what you can go for and also I would advise you to give indirect steam in halation to the child that really helps a lot and if required then you can also nebulise your child
