#asktheexpert hello doctor, my baby was vaccinated on his 45 th day. it's been 10 days. the swelling hasn't reduced yet on his thigh. is this normal?

A. after painful vaccines administration they can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also. it does not require axny treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
