#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor! My baby is 4 months and 11 days old.he is totally on BM and he sucks only for 5 to 10 min in one feeding session. Is it normal?? I am worried because he is not getting hindmilk. And plzz suggest after how many hours we should feed at this age??

Baby should take a feed for at least 20 to 40 minutes at a time. And you have to feed your baby in every two hours. If your baby is not taking this much feet in one take then you have to repeat the feeding in less time gap. Mother’s milk contains all the nutrition is baby need so just feed your baby properly.
