#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, My 3 weeks old baby girl is not sleeping even after feeding and giving colic drops. she stays awake for continuous 4 to 5 hours. is it normal? how to make her sleep?

A. Hello dear parent! It is a normal finding in small babies. Nothing to worry. As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine a minimum of 6 to 8 times in a day, showing no discomfort symptoms then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding and make your baby sleep in comfortable quiet surroundings.
