#AskTheExpert hello doctor, I have thyroid before 1 month of my pregnancy confirmation then during my pregnancy I had 50mcg thyroid tablets after delivery I didn't check and continuing thyroid tablets now my son was 6months old and yesterday thyroid test was done and TSH value is 5.59 shall I continue the tablets or not please suggest any advice doctor

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 3 years agoA. thyroid level at present is normal but you should not immediately stop taking the tablets and consult with your doctor for proper management and stepwise reduce the dose and then stop the medicines
