#AskTheExpert good morning sir my second baby was born on nov 30th.from the birth he has having jaundice still now we r kept phototheraphy ..when will it clear sir

A. hello parent ur kid a;lmpsy 2 week old it all depends on cause of neonatal jaundice and type of jaundice usuall jaundice decrease by 2 wks . , . .

Q. hi, baby girl born on Nov 2nd with mild jaundice, her birth weight was 3.54kg and by Nov 7th it was reduced to 3.19kg. later she was again caught with jaundice due to which her weight was reduced to 2.96 by Nov 12th. she regained her birth weight by Dec 5th and currently her weight is 5.25kg. Please let me know if the weight gain is sufficient
