Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitutssives medicine which should be used once a proper eyvaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Get your child tested for allergy because probably your child is suffering with an allergy and that is why your child is falling sick every now and then as you mentioned so that is what is going to be helpful you can take a homeopathy treatment for the child if you need
