#AskTheExpert good morning doctor..my question is how much bm or fm is good at a time for a 3week old baby?

A. Hello good evening !! Feeding quantity depends on Baby's present weight. By three weeks baby generally weighs 2.8-4 kg weight. Breast feed for 10-15 minutes each side if you have normal flow of milk if slow milk supply then feed 30-40 minutes. Formula milk 45-70ml per feed depending on baby requirement digestion capability.
