#AskTheExpert Good Morning Doctor, My concern is like; Is it okay that baby sucks milk from breastfeed continuously sometimes even for an hour with intermediate breaks of 1 or 2 mins. I mean baby remains hooked to mothers breast for almost an hour. Please explain?

A. hi it is common and they do this for comfort. so try to offer small and frequent feeds. cuddle your baby and offer lots of love. and if your child is playful , gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day ,no need to worry about it much.
