#AskTheExpert Good morning doctor My 1.8 year old nephew has some red patches on his face from past few weeks and it also irritates him. Kindly guide with the solution. thankyou

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of 2 children3 years agoA. it is allergy. Pediatrician should be consulted for the problem you have mention as it is very difficult to comment on the problem without examination of the baby so it is advisable to go for the examination of the baby first before any treatment.

it looks like fungal Infection or allergic reaction.
so please avoid using any cosmetics
keep an eye on your child diet
avoid giving acidic, citrus and spicy food items.
keep your child well hydrated
apply thin layer of coconut oil or pure aloe vera gel on this.
