#AskTheExpert gm dr. my daughter is 18 months old nd her weight is around 8.5 kg n height is 73.5 CM... is it normal???? what should I do for increasing her weight n height ???

A. The weight and height if the baby is honestly not in your control. You can only give her a balanced, home made fresh diet, give her enough playtime. If people around you say that your baby is so thin, are you not feeding, give her milk biscuit. Please dont listen to them. Till the time baby is playful, active and not falling sick, they are perfect. Get the medicines as and when needed, all the vaccination on time. Focus on things you can control

A. Hi mommy Most children gain about 4.4 pounds each year between 2 years old and puberty They also grow 3 inches that is 8 cm in height between 2 and 3 years old and 7 cm between 3 and 4 years old You might have trouble visualizing it but by 24 to 30 months children reach half their adult height
