#AskTheExpert Dr. prescribed protectis drops for 2.5 months baby. but baby is having diarrhoea and stomach pain after giving protectis 5 drops daily.

UMA SHASTRIMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Please stop the medicine and consult the doctor. It is important for the baby to stay hydrated so keep feeding as much as possible if exclusively breastfed. My 2 month daughter had lot of gas and passed stool very often so paediatrician gave Neopeptine drops. 5 drops twice daily before feed.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. If so Stop medicines and I feel and suggest It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now. Take care.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. not related to the medicines bhit is very important to avoid dehydration in the baby by giving adequate liquids ORS coconut water butter milk to the baby you can give zinconia and enterogermina tubes
