#Asktheexpert doctor my baby’ s head is extremely hot and he has discomfort in sleeping so when checked temp it’s 101.5 .no other part except head,palm and feet are hot. Runny nose is mild , what kind of a fever it could be that body is cold and head is hot .

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. if the temperature in axilla is more then only Fever Fever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees
