#AskTheExpert Doc said to get thyroid test done for my 52days old baby girl. He said only TSH. Is FT3 and FT4 NOT REQUIRED?

A. Even if the ft3 and ft4 are elevated it is TSH which is more important both during pregnancy and also for a newborn child. If you want to get ft3 and FT4 you can get it doneWrite Your Answer Here
