#AskTheExpert can we feed our 1 month old both formula milk and breast milk? we are already doing it , can we continue it further?

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Breastmilk is always the best milk. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months. So far no one was able to make a perfectly alternate product for breastmilk which is highly nutritious and has some incredible elements. Formula is a close to and safe choice for those who cannot breastfeed due to various reasons. Breastmilk is always the best milk but giving formula won't harm your baby. Try ur level best to breastfeed. If u couldn't then supplement as necessary with formula.
